Carpet production is manually done right from the begining to the finishing stage as per the traditional system.
Wool
Tibetan sheep wool comes in a form of raw wool. Pure white wool and other
impurities are segregated to get the best white wool which is hand washed
in spring water.
Carding
The Traditional method is the hand carding. All the carpets that we supply are
hand carded for its lustrous out look.
Spinning
The washed wool is hand spun into yarn by spinning wheel to the desired pile for
different qualities of carpets. Hand spinning brings the best yarn for carpets
for its elasticity and strength.
Dyeing
Dyeing is done with traditional method of pot dyeing. Even the dyes are either
vegetable or chemical. We have chosen the traditional pot dyeing using both ‘echo-friendly vegetable’ and metal free chemical’ dyes depending on the choice
of our clients.
Weaving
Tibetan rug weaving has a different technique which can be dated back atleast to
the 5th entury A.D. Not only is the basic knotting technique different from
others, Tibetans developed certain additional knots and tricks to improve
design. Another factor pointing to a long solid tradition, is the extreme range
of knots per square feet or meter. This indicates that Tibetan craftsmen are
extremely confortable with the loom, and confident, as only masters can be.
Entire waeving work is carried out by the hand through the traditional Tibetan
double knotting system on a vertical loom.
Treaming
Trimming is done by hand with a pair of scissors. The levelling and the embossing
scissors. Trimming improves the out look of carpet and the designs. This is
done before the carpet is washed.
Carpet Washing
All the carpets are washed in spring water applying mild detergent for softness and good shinning. Moth repellents are also used to keep the carpet moth proof. Washing technique is different for vegetable and chemical dyed carpets.
Carpet Cleaning
Carpet Cleaning with us is totally difference than others. We use only upright vacuum. To clean the carpet we never use bar/brush. We don’t apply stain repellent treatments. After professionally cleaning the carpet we use only reputed company or professional to check them. We use only quality trade mark used wool to maintain the quality.

Chill with aerosol freezing agent of ice cubes in a plastic bag. Pick or scrape off gum.
Vinegar solution
Warm water
Clear nail polish remove (preferably acelone)
Alcohol of mothylated spirits mineral turpentine.
Rust remove.
Absorbent powder (e.g. salt, talc of proprietary absorbent powders.
Absorbent cleaner Host or dry Materials.
Vegetable dyed carpets should be washed very softly by using brush to open pile. We use iron free water and soft chemicals like caustic soda, bleaching powder and should be washed by normal washing soap. In case of damage of splitting by tea, coffee or coke etc, it should be repaired by painting system by professional carpet painter to make it better instead of washing.
Final Stage
This is the ultimate stage to check the outcome of the rug. Each and every detail of the rug is checked by professionals.
